*Wednesday, April 9^th *
This will be an excellent opportunity for you to interact one-on-one =
with professionals in a variety of careers including medicine, law, and =
business. Speakers include:
*Dr. J Keith Joung, M.D.-Ph.D.*--Dr. Joung is currently the Director of =
Molecular Pathology at Harvard Medical School. He completed his =
M.D.-Ph.D at HMS, served his residency at Massachusetts General =
Hospital, and completed his post-doctoral fellowship at MIT. Along with =
his role as Winthrop Pre-med tutor, his experiences will be able to =
guide students on both careers in medicine, research, or both.
*Mr. Philip Lee*--Mr. Lee is the Assistant Director of Admissions at =
Harvard Law School, so if you want to get into law school or HLS in =
particular, he will be able to provide you the inside scoop. His =
extensive experience includes both public and private service, having =
worked for both the NYC Law Dept and a private NYC law firm.
*Naomi Aoki*--Mrs. Aoki is the present Direct of Public Affairs for =
Biogen Idec and will be able to provide you in depth advice on public =
relations, communications, and journalism. As a past reporter for the =
Boston Globe and VP of a public relations firm, Mrs. Aoki has extensive =
real world career experience to help you with yours.
After an initial introduction, students will be divided by interest and =
explore the challenges, rewards, benefits, etc on their career paths. If =
