Our family is moving abroad for a year and we are very sad to be leaving behind our daughter’s nanny, Melissa. Melissa has over ten years of experience and is a professional and very loving nanny. She has cared for our nearly two year old daughter for over a year and during this time I have seen how she has benefited from Melissa’s conscientious and loving care. Melissa navigates and organizes our daughters various activities, taking her to the park, the library, to music class and art class. She interacts beautifully with our daughter: she is very calm (I have never seen her get frustrated or impatient) and she has been excellent at teaching our daughter manners and respectful interaction with other children and adults. Melissa loves singing and dancing, playing games and is a specialist at art projects and crafts (she has lots of creative craft ideas).
We trust Melissa’s judgment completely and have found her to be extremely respectful of our daughter and our family. We feel our daughter is always safe in her care. Melissa never texts or talks on the phone when she is watching our daughter. She tidies up our kitchen, makes our daughters lunch and dinner, and makes sure her play area and room are neat. She has always been on time and is very easy to communicate with.
She is looking for a job near the T as she does not drive and is looking for 30 hours a week and up.
One of her references told me that Melissa would be an asset to any family. We have found that to be absolutely true. We will miss her immensely.
