Hi everyone,

We're moving and our 2 bedroom apartment will be available May 15. We had a
really rough time finding a deleaded apartment, so I thought other parents
might be interested in a deleaded, family-friendly rental. We've loved
living here - the location is very convenient to Harvard Square, as well as
Porter, Davis, and downtown Arlington, and it's a great area for families,
walking distance to Fox Library, playgrounds, and Isis, and lots of young
children around. The apartment is the second floor of a two-unit house in
Arlington and is walking distance to the Alewife T - we're one house up from
Magnolia Park and you can walk by the park on the bike path to the T
station. It's also a quick walk to the 73 bus stop at Lake Street and Mass
Ave. It has a large living room and dining room, kitchen, pantry area, two
bedrooms, one bath, as well as two separate areas that my husband and I have
used as offices. There is an enclosed front porch and an open back porch.
The kitchen is older, but does have a dishwasher. There is a shared backyard
(with the unit downstairs) and shared driveway parking for two cars. There
is a washer in the basement; the dryer is ours, but we can sell it if you're
interested (or of course we'll move it and there will be a hook-up) - both
washer and dryer are exclusive to the unit. There is also plenty of storage
space in the basement. The rent is $1750/month. The May 15 availability is
somewhat flexible, as we could be out a bit earlier if need be - we'd also
be fine with a new tenant moving some stuff in ahead of the lease start date
(I'll be here by myself from mid-April on, so it wouldn't be a big deal to
start bringing over boxes early if you're local and like me hate trying to
move everything in one day). And pets are okay! I'm happy to answer any
questions, send pictures, or arrange to show the apartment if anyone is
interested - also feel free to forward to others who you know who might be
interested.

Best,
Erica
