Thanks to everyone for lots of great suggestions and tips! We made it
there and back, but I'm pretty glad it was a short flight.

best,
alison

Subject: [Parentsgroup-list] toddler on an airplane - help!
To: parentsgroup-list at lists.hcs.harvard.edu

Hi all,

I'm taking my very active 17 month-old daughter on the airplane on
Thursday. It's the first time she will fly since being old enough to
crawl, let alone run all over the place as she now does. It's a short
flight and she has her own seat (big sale on fares), but I have no idea
how to entertain her to keep her in her seat for that long.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, as I said, she has her own seat - I'm assuming I don't need to
bring a carseat or booster or anything, is that right?

thanks!
-alison
