My kids are signed up for this camp for next week (Tyler, age 16 as a
Counselor-in-Training and Cole, age 9 as a participant). There is still
plenty of space in it, if any children age 7 to 12 want to join in. We
visited one day last week and it looks wonderful. The counselors are
great and have some great activities planned. More info below, and on
their website (www.campkaleidoscope.org).
best, donna

Camp Kaleidoscope is an exciting new summer day camp created and run by a group
of MIT students. At camp, kids are free to participate in daily activities
scheduled by the counselors, make up their own activities, or just play on
their own.

The camp is for 7-12 year olds and is running from June 19th to August 25th. We
still have plenty of space and would have love to have more kids this summer.
We meet Monday to Friday from 9am-3:00pm at the Harvard Epworth Church in
Harvard Square. Before and after program care is also available.

Our activities focus on hands-on activities; doing things and making things.
Activities include:

**Building stuff**: electronics/learning how things work/robotics/making
computer games

**Art**: making and playing with clay/animation/making jewelry/drawing and

**Outdoors**: juggling/devil sticks/water fights/bottle rockets

There's more information at our website, www.campkaleidoscope.org. Feel free to
contact me, Mike Nagle, with questions at 617-571-1369 or nagle at mit.edu.
