[Parentsgroup-list] No well-baby visits with BCBS??

Hi all,

The issue may be because we are not supposed to be using BCBS for primary
care--it is there really just for certain specialist care and hospitalization.
We are supposed to get all our primary care (and most specialist care, like
dermatology etc.) at UHS. Same goes for our kids and partners.

You can have pretty much unlimited pediatrician visits at UHS, but if you use a
non-UHS physician you will indeed be limited to a certain number of visits.
So, unfortunately, you may not have much luck getting BCBS to pay for more.

best, Christine
