There is perhaps no more exciting engineering challenge or hotter
real-world application of AI right now than autonomous vehicles. Many of
the most innovative and deep-pocketed companies in the world -- from Google
to Uber, from Baidu to Apple, from Tesla to Ford -- are investing heavily
and racing to establish themselves as technology leaders in this
transformative new field.

The Stanford/Harvard Forum on the Future of Transportation
is a group of students, professors, investors, and founders working on or
interested in AVs and the future of mobility. Jointly founded at Stanford
and Harvard, SHFFT organizes regular events on both coasts for its
members. Recent
events include small-group dinners with Lior Ron, Otto
 co-founder, and with Keith Hennessey
formerly the President's chief economic adviser in the White House. SHFFT
sends out a regular newsletter exclusively to group membership that
includes career opportunities in the space, information on upcoming SHFFT
events, analysis of the sector, and more.

Membership in SHFFT is open to all members of the Harvard community. If you
are interested in joining the group or hearing more, please get in touch
with Rob Toews (Harvard JD/MBA 2018) at rtoews at mba2018.hbs.edu.
