Associate Researcher at Riot Games speak about merging methods from both
research and analytics!

Ally Sprugel, will introduce herself then briefly cover Riot Games and
League of Legends. The bulk of the talk will walk through a particular tech
problem the company faced last year and how Riot's Insights group helped
solve it by partnering with Engineers and applying methods from both
research and analytics. We'll leave some time at the end for questions.

*Background on the speaker:*

*Ally Sprugel is an Associate Researcher at Riot Games and is responsible
for helping the Publishing half of our organization (think: Brand
Management, PR, Communications, Video Production) better understand the
impact of their work. Wielding quantitative and qualitative research
skills, Ally hunts, gathers and translates data into actionable information
that these teams can quickly digest and apply to their next project. Before
her role as a researcher, Ally helped build Riot's North American
Internship program and hired Game Engineers in the company's earlier days.
Ally has a bachelor's degrees from Kenyon College in Psychology &
