[Greener-benches] Opportunities for students

Below are some opportunities that may be of interest!




Mass Energy Lab, a Cambridge, MA based, boutique Clean Technology firm, is sponsoring a competition for graduate and undergraduate students in Massachusetts to identify and research cutting-edge, new-to-market energy efficiency solutions that can impact the built environment. Research projects will explore the technical performance of a solution, as well as the marketability of the solution in the region. The grand prize winner will be awarded $3,000, followed by second place of $1,500 and $500 for third place.

Greenstart is a cleantech accelerator program providing a fast runway to success for entrepreneurs addressing the energy challenge.  Greenstart provides seed funding, mentoring, and connections with fellow entrepreneurs and investors in order to give startups an advantage in launching the cleantech ideas of tomorrow.  The company is based in San Francisco.

Greenstart is accepting applications between October 2nd and November 18th for its Winter 2012 program. Applications will be reviewed and accepted as they come in, so apply early.
