I wanted to inform you of an upcoming lunch talk hosted by the FAS Green
Program that may be of interest. Details are below:

 

Green Chemistry Lunch Seminar

Thursday, July 21st 12:00-1:00 pm

Pfizer Lecture Hall, Mallinckrodt B23

 

Featured Speakers: 

*         Professor Jeffrey Steinfeld: MIT Emeritus Professor of
Chemistry, Education Program Director, Laboratory for Energy and the
Environment

*         Susan Leite: MIT Environmental Health and Safety Officer

 

Topics will include:

*         Background on Green Chemistry

*         "Twelve Principles of Green Chemistry" 

*         MIT's Green Chemical Alternatives Wizard

*         Case Studies

Our speakers will present for 40 minutes, and then we will have 20
minutes for discussion and Q&A.
