To join the Cotton Mather Consortium, fill out the information form on this page!
Membership in the Consortium includes a subscription to our mailing list, Mather-open. This list will occasionally be used to advertise Consortium activities and events. The primary purpose of the list, however, is to exploit the electronic medium to bring members of the Society together for discussion of topics of the day. Members of the Consortium and others are encouraged to send email of interest to the membership by emailing
Mather-open@hcs.harvard.edu. This is a private, unmoderated, high volume list.
The Cotton Mather Consortium is an association of students in Harvard College in the process of applying for official student group status. It is a forum for lively discussion, debate, and digression. Our aim is to encourage the interaction of undergraduates each other and with persons of import via receptions, tea parties, dinners, banquets, dances, musicales and similar affairs. Many of the members of the Cotton Mather Consortium are students in Mather House in Harvard College. However, the Consortium is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mather House.
